Sustrans
Sustrans is a charity working on projects to encourage people to walk, cycle and use public transport, providing the choice of "travelling in ways that benefit their health and the environment". Its flagship project is the National Cycle Network which incorporates over 14,000 miles of signed cycle routes throughout the UK.
Great Northern Railway Trail
This is a work in progress, but the completion of the first section over two spectacular viaducts opens up the potential for day rides in this beautiful corner of Bronte country. The route follows parts of the former 'Alpine' railway between Queensbury and Keighley.

Two Tunnels Greenway
This is an iconic shared use path for walking and cycling extending southwards from Bath. The route follows the disused trackbed of the Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway through the city’s suburbs and incorporates the mile-long Combe Down Tunnel, the shorter Devonshire Tunnel and Tucking Mill Viaduct.
Rhondda Tunnel Society
The website of a campaign group aiming to unearth and then restore a 3,443-yard tunnel in South Wales for walking and cycling purposes.
